ORIGIN SEARCH

For adoptees interested in knowing their origins.

This program provides advice to those who have been adopted through FANA and are interested in obtaining their personal file or seeking information about their biological family. This program also provides emotional accompaniment during the process.

It is important to clarify that FANA does NOT have these personal records, as by law they were handed over to the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF). ICBF is the only entity authorized to provide this information, therefore, FANA acts only as a process advisor.

If you are interested and want to know the process write an email to::

raices@fundacionfana.org

or contact the ICBF directly by emailing:  busquedaorigenesadoptados@icbf.gov.co

  or by calling the Adoption Subaddress to the PBX (57 1) 437 76 30 - Ext. 101126 o 101132.

WHO CAN REQUEST THIS INFORMATION?

Adoptees over the age of 18 or adoptive parents.

CAN FANA DELIVER
