PROTECTION

RESTORATION OF RIGHTS

Providing shelter and protection for children living at FANA.

FANA has a contract with ICBF, the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, through which it lovingly welcomes and protects a monthly average of 92 children between the ages of 0 and 16. These children are in situations of vulnerability due to abandonment or abuse.

Children live in our facilities, in a quiet environment where they are recognized as individual beings. We always seek to connect with them and offer them a safe space where they can create healthy bonds after having suffered trauma. In addition, we teach them tools to be more autonomous and self-regulating.

WHO DO WE SERVE?

We welcome an average monthly of 92 children aged 0 to 16 who are vulnerable for reasons such as maltreatment, abuse, violence, abandonment or neglect.

We provide love and care, in addition to comprehensive protection: health, education, nutrition, housing, clothing, recreation and psychosocial care.

WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?

WHAT DID WE ACHIEVE?

Restoration of children's rights; offering the best care, strengthening children’s resilience to overcome trauma and ultimately seeking to restore their right to have a family.
